John Jeffery of Donhead established the original business in 1902. The present company began trading in 1987 as a specialist livestock auction business but in the last few years it has expanded and now holds auction sales of antiques, furniture and household goods, collectables, farm machinery, plant and other industrial equipment.
The business is run from the modern purpose built livestock market in Netherhampton, which has a restaurant/bar, large function room/ballroom (licensed for weddings), and from Shaftesbury livestock market.

  • Specialist Carpet, Rug & Textile sales five times a year.
  • Quarterly sales of Sporting effects, including Hunting, Shooting & Fishing.

  • The Stockman's Lounge; will seat 150 guests for lunch/dinner or easily accommodate 200 guests for a buffet. The fully licensed bar, kitchen and servery can provide catering for these special functions as well as for the normal restaurant facilities on sale days.

  • Carboot sales every Sunday (inc. Bank Holiday weekends and Easter), sellers from 6.30am and buyers from 7.30am. Contact: Jackie 07934369434. There are a limited number of tables that can be hired out for the carboot - £35 deposit with £30 refundable on safe return. Please call Jackie in advance.
