John Jeffery of Donhead established the original business in 1902. The present
company began trading in 1987 as a specialist livestock auction business but in
the last few years, it has expanded and now holds auction sales of antiques,
furniture and household goods, collectables, farm machinery, plant and other
industrial equipment.
The business is run from the modern purpose built livestock market in
Netherhampton, which has a restaurant/bar, large function room/ballroom
(licensed for weddings), and from Shaftesbury livestock market.
